Halloween is probably everyone’s favorite time of the year, celebrities included! And the one thing celebrities LOVE to do at Halloween – just like us mere mortals – is live out their dream of dressing-up as another celebrity. So we’re breaking down 8 celebrities that SLAYED as other celebs for Halloween!
First up is Harry Styles, who transformed into a hot Elton John over the weekend in a shimmering LA Dodgers uniform for the star-studded Casamigos Halloween party. Harry’s glittery costume was a remake of an outfit that Elton John rocked himself while performing for his shows at L.A.’s Dodger Stadium back in 1975. He absolutely NAILED this look and was loving every second of it, playing it up to the camera for a series of photo ops, and we’re not mad about it.
And neither is the music legend himself, who gave Harry his seal of approval, posting snaps of Harry to his OWN Instagram account, gushing, QUOTE: “Now that’s what I call a Halloween costume.”
We couldn’t agree more!
Next up is someone who knows a thing or two about shimmering sparkle, its none other than Kylie Jenner rocking Xtina Aguilera during her “Dirrty” days, for Halloween 2016. Kylie absolutely SLAYED this look – and almost broke the internet in the process – re-creating the pop princess’ get-up from her 2002 music video, complete with blonde hair, nose piercing, chaps – and even showed off her best Christina dance moves. The internet was shook as to how well she nailed it.
We can’t wait to see what other looks Kylie will rock this year!
While we’re “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” next up is a serial Halloween celebrity-look slayer, Kim Kardashian. Last year, Kim, who said her costume theme was her favorite icons, hands down NAILED every detail of her celebrity looks. She dressed up as a whole cast of different celebs over the holiday, including: Madonna with sister Kourtney as Michael Jackson, Cher alongside her BFF Jonathan as Sonny, the late Aaliyah and the late Tejano singer, Selena Quintanilla.
As Kim twirled, sang and danced, channeling her idol, the internet was divided on how they felt about Kim dressing up as Selena. But one thing most agreed on, she definitely slayed this look!
But Kim isn’t the only celebrity that has rocked a wicked Halloween costume as the Latina icon. Who can forget the time Demi Lovato also slayed this look? In 2017 Demi Lovato wowed fans wearing her version of Selena’s trademark sparkling, purple-flared jumpsuit and fans were LIVING for it!
Another person who approved of the look is the late singer’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla. Suzette was filled with compliments for BOTH Demi’s and Kim’s version when talking to Power 106 Los Angeles radio. When asked to pick who she thought rocked the look better, she said, QUOTE: “I have to tie because they both looked beautiful!… They’re beautiful.”
On the subject of “Kim’s,” next on our list is Miley Cyrus, who in 2013 rocked another banger look, dressing up as rapper Lil Kim – wearing that UNFORGETABLE skimpy outfit Kim wore to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. Never shy to show some skin, Miley looked hot in a purple wig and THAT infamous purple pasty on top of her left boob. Miley posted a tweet of her get-up captioned, “Happy Halloween” with four hearts.
And Lil Kim approved. She tweeted her support of Miley’s costume,
Ellen is a HUGE Halloween fan who loves dressing up and scaring her guests for the Holiday. In 2013, she came out as Nicki Minaj, bare chested and all, and cheekily poked fun at Nicki’s choice of outfit on the show
