Little Mix is mixing things up! The girl group is reportedly planning to launch their own new talent show for the BBC, which might stir the pot with their former boss and group creator, Simon Cowell.

What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and we all know that Little Mix has been extremely successful since winning Simon Cowell’s show “The X Factor” back in 2011.

But now the ladies of Little Mix are headed to the BBC for their own series — which is currently being called “Little Mix – The Search.”And get ready y’all because I think this show might be the next big thing! Variety confirmed that the project is underway and in the show Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne will mentor up-and-coming acts in the hopes of finding the next big stars. And fans couldn’t be more excited. But this show could definitely stir up some drama given it’s a similar format to X Factor and will likely air around the same time.

An insider told The Sun that quote, “This show is huge for Little Mix but it will be a massive blow for Simon. ‘The X Factor’s’ viewing figures have fallen for years but this could be the nail in the coffin. Saturday night needs a new singing competition to freshen it up and, with Little Mix involved, this could well be it.”
But Simon is coming out with another spin off of the franchise called, The X Factor: Celebrity and it’s set to premiere soon.

Maybe he knew that Little Mix was coming out with The Search and wanted to get ahead of it? Who knows…But anyway, Simon will reunite with former X Factor mentors Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh to help find the next singing superstar.
Daily Mail reported that Simon revealed exactly why he decided to revamp the show.
So I guess we’ll just have to see who’s show does better Simon’s or Little Mix’s…
Even after Little Mix finished their time on X Factor, they released four albums with Simon’s label… however they parted ways to work on their fifth album with RCA.
And this new show won’t be the first time Little Mix has worked with the BBC.Jesy recently made a documentary for the BBC called, “Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out.”In the doc she opened up about the abuse she faced from cyber bullying, her mental health, and body image.Back when Little Mix won X Factor, Jesy says they were all quote “on cloud nine.” But just hours after winning the show, her excitement was tainted by online trolls. She said quote, “I had about 101 Facebook messages in my inbox, and the first one that came up was from some random man, saying: ‘You are the ugliest thing I’ve seen in my life, you do not deserve to be in this girl band. You deserve to die’.”Just one message like this would be devastating for anyone, but being in public eye made it extremely challenging for Jesy. But thankfully she worked through it by deleted social media apps and working with a therapist. And we are just so grateful that Jesy is in a better place. And even before the Odd One Out aired, Jesy revealed more and more about her personal struggles on social media.

When her doc aired on the BBC, it was trending on Twitter and Jesy was overwhelmed by the support. And fans loved Jesy’s doc and her bravery. And clearly Jesy really helped others with this program, which was her original goal. And we love her for that.

But I want to know what you guys think.
