The holiday season is officially in full swing! And you know what that means, it’s a time for joy, love, family, friends, and of course, giving back. And some of our favorite celebrities are known to go all-out and give back to the less fortunate during the holiday season.

What’s up guys, it’s Erin Robinson here with Clevver News, and if there’s one sure way to stay on Santa’s nice list, it’s by helping those less fortunate than you. During a time when it’s easy to forget that there’s more to the holiday season than receiving presents, it’s awesome to see celebrities giving back, and get inspiration on how we can give back to our communities as well.

Now, of course, we can’t list ALL the charitable acts these celebs have done, but a few stick out in particular.

Each year, Jennifer Lawrence spreads some holiday cheer at a children’s hospital in her hometown of Kentucky.

Last year was Jennifer’s sixth consecutive year visiting the hospital. They thanked her by writing, “ special thank you to Jennifer Lawrence for visiting Norton Children’s Hospital to spread some holiday cheer! ❤️”

During her visits to the hospital, Jennifer is always happy to take photos with nurses, doctors, staff, and patients, and her foundation, The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation, has also made generous financial gifts to Norton’s Children’s Hospital.

This hospital clearly holds a special spot in Jennifer’s heart, and they are even naming their new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit after her.

Of course, we mustn’t forget about the time in 2016 when Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Cause and visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where they spent time with children and their parents, signed autographs, and sang Christmas carols.

This wasn’t Katy Perry’s first time being visiting CHLA. She’s been a supporter of their music therapy program and even performed at and made a speech at CHLA’s ‘Once Upon a Time’ Gala.
She performed at benefits for CHLA in the past, and is a huge supporter of their music therapy program.

Katy has showed support for CHLA through the holiday season and throughout the rest of the year as well. This past March, she tweeted QUOTE, “I’ve been so lucky to meet some of the biggest lights through @CMNHospitals, while I’m on tour, and right here at home at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Please support #ChildrensHospitalsWeek by clicking here:.”

She’s really dedicated to helping the cause and we respect her so much for it!

The Kardashian-Jenner family may be known for their lavish lifestyles and excellent self-promoting skills, but they are also committed to helping the less fortunate, even though they may not always display it.

In 2016, The KarJenners gave the gift of food to residents of Skid Row in Los Angeles, which if you don’t know, is a neighborhood in Downtown LA typically populated by people marginalized by poverty.

Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, donated 100 gourmet meals that were given out to people in need, through an organization called Red Eye. Although we think we’re always in the loop on all things Kardashian, they prefer to keep some things private, including their charitable efforts.

The official Instagram page for Red Eye, run by executive director Justin Mayo, made a statement on Instagram, saying QUOTE, “Got a Christmas call from Jenner / Kardashian Home saying they wanted to donate some food… 100 gourmet chef prepared meals for those on Skid Row. No publicity. No press release. Simply an amazing family loving their city. They had no clue I’d post this but I felt people should see this side of their hearts. Thank you @coreygamble @krisjenner @kendalljenner @kyliejenner @kimkardashian @kanyewest @kourtneykardash @khloekardashian @robkardashian”

Justin continued on to say, ““This is not even close to the first time they have contributed to those on Skid Row or the kids Red Eye mentors every week in Watts over the past 10 years.”

On that note, we hope you’re having an amazing day, and if you’re able to make someone’s holiday season a little brighter, please do so. You can even start right now! Leave a nice message for a random person in the comment section below, we’re sure they’ll appreciate it!
