For those who aren’t super familiar with the feud between YouTubers Alissa Violet and Tessa Brooks, basically these girls used to be best friends, until the drama hit the fan early last year. After Team 10 leader Jake Paul accused Alissa of cheating, Tessa sided with Jake and unfollowed Alissa on social media. Alissa then unfollowed Tessa on social media and later edited her out of one of her old Instagram pictures, and thus an epic feud that turned friends into frenemies was born.
So cut to this week, and right in the middle of Shane Dawson’s Jake Paul documentary, Alissa and Tessa finally reunited. Fans of the ladies flooded to Twitter to share their excitement over their adorable reunion. One fan wrote QUOTE, “ALISSA AND TESSA TOGETHER IS A BIG YES FROM ME”, while another tweeted QUOTE, “I can’t believe that Tessa and Alissa reunited like omg! Literally I didn’t want to wake up to see this all over my timeline but who cares I’m just posting it anyways!”
Of course, a few mega-fans saw this reunion coming. Recently, while doing a Q&A on her YouTube channel with BFF Chantel Jeffries, Alissa was asked if she was still friends with Tessa. Her cryptic response? “Stay tuned”.
And if all that isn’t evidence that the Talissa feud is finally over, Alissa started liking Tessa’s pictures again.
As for what incited the re-established friendship, we have a sneaking suspicion that Tessa changed her mind about fully siding with Jake over the Jalissa drama. Shane is set to talk to Tessa’s good friend and Jake’s current girlfriend, Erika Costell, in an upcoming installment of his Jake Paul docuseries, so perhaps she’ll give some insight into what really caused Tessa and Alissa’s reunion.
