James Charles was feeling extra generous Thursday night and some lucky fans had their prayers answered
What’s up guys it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and if you’ve ever thought about what your guardian angel looked like, you probably didn’t imagine anything close to James Charles.
BUT he really acted as some people’s financial guardian angel last night when he tweeted “who needs help with their bills this month”
Over 61 thousand people replied, and that’s a lot of cash to hand over, even for James
But for a select few lucky people, James was able to help make a difference
And we were curious here at Clevver so we slid into his DMs.. NO not for cash, but rather to see exactly WHY he took it upon himself to help out people financially!
He told us that he wanted to help people out because he “just had a really awful day yesterday due to personal issues and thought if I can’t make myself smile, may as well try to make others”
And put smiles on faces he did!!!
Like Japan Slayz, who told us that James had helped him in the past to get his makeup business off the ground and once again reached out to help him with his monthly bills
Another, MUA Mommy, replied to James saying “my birthday is tomorrow. I’m chronically ill and I’ve spent my last 4 birthdays in a row at the hospital due to my illnesses. It would genuinely be a birthday wish come true if I could even just get help with bills. Medical is expensive”
James replied to tell her to check her DMS and when we reached out for a statement, she told us “I can promise that he did go through with helping me. He saved me from a medical debt I had and then some. James Charles is a godsend”
Another person who James helped out told Clevver “Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it. He is such an angel, so kind and generous and he sets an amazing example for his followers, and we literally don’t deserve him. He has nothing but goodness in his heart”
Another reached out on behalf of his schoolteacher mom, saying “they pay teachers like 2 dollars it’s sad”
He later tweeted “James is the nicest person in the entire world. He literally just helped my mom and I tremendously”
We’re not sure just how many people James ended up donating to, but he publicly replied to 7 people.
Including one person who asked if he could donate to her town of Odessa, Texas that was recently affected by a mass shooting
James, of course, asked where he can donate
He later tweeted out “the absolute best part of having a platform is being able to make others smile even on your own worst days”
Everybody who he reached out to seemed really touched by James’s sentiment. And I’ve gotta say, I’m really touched by it too. What do you guys think of James’ generosity?
